DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Office Calendar No. 10" earlier version with fret work between the two dials, 8 day, time and perpetual calendar, weight driven movement in walnut case similar to the "Regulator No. 6" with painted metal double dials, c1886
CONDITION:
the case retains its original finish rubbed down with a split in the top of the case and one of the lower finials damaged slightly. Both dials have been professionally repainted and the center arbor hole in the upper time dial has been inexplicably enlarged, tends to indicate the period dial was on another clock at one time. The weight is repainted, the finely damascene pendulum is original and there is a label in good condition. Ht 49"
